In a few short months America has lost its identity and may yet go through some heinous hell beyond economic pain, who knows for how long?
You (those surrendering sycophants) are a proven Kakistocracy. The rest of the democratic world is in awe, and not the good kind.

Recent events in America are influencing election campaigning in Australia leading up to our May 3 federal election. Both major party leaders and the media have been treading carefully around the Trump self-sabotage machine.
Australian Conservatives who jumped on the hard-right bandwagon are now leaping off and scattering in confusion and disarray. Opposition leader Dutton is in mid-leap and he looks very awkward. Not a graceful jeté, more like an embarrassing belly flop into the dust.
Suddenly, sacking tens of thousands of public servants, dismantling the education department and starting a war on woke looks unwise, doesn’t it Mr Dutton?
I’m getting a bit tired of having to voice political opinion here.
But lots of voices are needed now, and minds, and intelligence, and sanity.
