I’ve had the enormous pleasure of creating videoclips for the music of Stewart Wauchop in the last few months.

Stewart is my brother-in-law. He’s pursued a creative career all his life and now at nearly 80 has produced several albums of his music, written and recorded over the last 50 years.

AI is supporting us both to realise some projects long left on the back burner.

For me, I get to create video again—a form I loved working with many years ago. Stewart’s music is meaningful for me so it’s a joyful process.

Some of the videos I’ve made have dance elements and I can see how I can wrangle the bot to create animations and dance videos in the future.

  1. How enjoyable. There is no end to your talent, Deidhre, and your courageous exploration with the technology that gives us so much fear. You can make it work for you. Stewart too. I loved the story of Chris’s early childhood – what a beautiful song it is. You must have had so much fun doing this. The storm one is stunning. Those Wauchop boys are really something. I don’t have to convince you. Thank you for sharing your work with me – I am in awe as always.

    1. Hi Marg!
As always thanks so much for your comment. Yes, Riverina Country Blues was so much fun—we got out all the old Wauchop family photos and Chris told me what he could remember of that part of his life. And about the fear—I’m as frightened as most but figure I can maybe have some hand in demonstrating how humans can control the technology rather than the other way around. I’ll pass on what you’ve said to the Wauchop boys! xxD
